In June of 1980, we opened a checking account with $65.00 and proceeded to buy business cards and hats and started Metal Mites Auto Body. Metal Mites was the name Jerry's wife created for metal caricatures that Jerry was making as a hobby. The company was located in Jerry's garage from June, 1980 to January 1, 1982 when we moved to 8916 Fairview, Brookfield. In December of 1985 we had the opportunity to purchase Falconer Wheel & Brake's building. After months of rehab we made the "big move" into our home at 36 East Quincy, Riverside on June 1, 1986.
